Mondial Granit S.p.A., founded in 1991 by Dr. Giovanni Damigella in Ragusa, is a successful company in the production and marketing of marble and granite. Thanks to Dr. Damigella’s determi- nation, the company has established itself on the major international mar- kets, with branches in Valderice (specialised in Perlato and Perlatino), Massa and Verona.
Today Mondial Granit covers an area of 220 thousand square metres, where latest generation machinery and systems are installed which, together with highly qualified personnel, allow the production of a wide range of quality stone products. Precisely with this in mind, Dr. Damigella, thanks to his long experience in the natural stone processing sector, chose the new GMW 2000 multiwire, produced by Gaspari Menotti.
It is a machine specifically designed to cut Perlato and Perlatino blocks quickly and precisely, thanks to the latest generation technology that equips the GMW 2000 multiwire. The new GMW 2000 present in the Valderice plant uses diamond wire with a diameter of 5.3 mm, reaching very high working speeds to reduce cutting time to a minimum.
