To strengthen his leadership, Mr. Marandi, owner and founder of the company, relied on the latest generation Italian technology produced by Gaspari Menotti by installing a GMW 2000 multi-wire model and a complete line for polishing slabs equipped with an automatic polishing machine for granite MIRROR Series 18 heads and 2 robots TRONIC for handling the slabs.
The GMW 2000 multiwire machine is a machine designed to install 71 wires of 6.3 mm diameter to obtain 2 cm thick slabs and is part of the GMW Series, the most performing and reliable multiwire machine available on the market.
The MIRROR Series slab polishing machine guarantees very high yield and excellent quality of the finished slabs, thanks to the latest generation mechanical and electronic solutions installed, which follow the guidelines of “Industry 4.0” standards. To optimize the polishing machine’s performance, the line has been equipped with 2 robots TRONIC for loading and unloading the slabs. The TRONIC robot allows to automate the handling of the slabs allowing the “open book” working mode.
